Business Development Manager

As an urban regeneration specialist, Envivo is a multi-discipline consultancy that provides market leading professional services in Engineering, Surveying and Planning to a wide range of land development, construction and institutional clients.

After a period of growth, the business is currently repositioning itself for an exciting phase of transformation.  Reporting to the newly appointed Chief Executive, you will be responsible for improving Envivo’s market position and financial growth with a focus on building relationships with key accounts and leading the business development process in the company.

The successful candidate will be an energetic and experienced mid-level Business Development Manager with deep knowledge of New Zealand’s engineering and construction sector. Ideally, you will also have some operational and project management experience and a background in consulting engineering. This new role is Auckland based with infrequent domestic travel requirements.  Flexible work arrangements will be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the business to design and implement a professional front-end work-winning process, suitable for a mid-tier business spanning engineering, surveying and planning
  • Assist the leadership team to re-position the business for larger project commissions, with an emphasis on longer-term partnerships and alliances
  • Work with the business leaders to identify and convert a deep pipeline of opportunities
  • Align outcomes to the successful execution of the strategic plan
