Land Survey Technician

Our surveyors have been involved in numerous subdivision and land development projects and ensured our clients’ success by providing comprehensive surveying services. As one of New Zealand’s largest surveying providers, Envivo has a reputation for producing industry-leading plans and digital information.

Responsibilities

Working with the Field Team Leader or Survey Manager:

Undertake field/cadastral surveying including topographical surveys, land transfer, height to boundary and building setouts etc
Complete survey processing and calculations
Complete information searches
Supervise Survey Assistants and assist with staff training and development
Maintain vehicles and equipment
Skills/Experience Required

Relevant Surveying qualification – National Diploma in Surveying or equivalent
Good working knowledge of surveying equipment (Leica), eg Robotic Total Stations
Strong attention to detail
Quick and efficient time management and completion of work
Professional and confident interaction with clients and staff
Full driver’s licence and able to drive manual vehicles
Enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions
Good level of fitness and strength
Good command of English language required (especially speaking)

Surveyor/ Field Team Leader

Our surveyors have been involved in numerous subdivision and land development projects and ensured our clients’ success by providing comprehensive surveying services.  As one of New Zealand’s largest surveying providers, Envivo has a reputation for producing industry-leading plans and digital information.

This is an excellent opportunity for a newly Licensed Cadastral Surveyor to step into a team lead role.

Responsibilities

Working with the Survey Manager:

  • Day-to-day management of field staff
  • Liaise with internal consultant teams and clients on projects
  • Undertake field surveying including topographical surveys, land transfer,
    height to boundary and building setouts etc
  • Complete survey processing and calculations
  • Complete information searches
  • Assist with staff training and development
  • Champion health & safety culture of prevention and compliance

Skills/Experience Required

  • Bachelor of Surveying or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of surveying equipment (Leica), eg Robotic Total Stations
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Quick and efficient time management and completion of work
  • Professional and confident interaction with clients and staff
  • Full driver’s licence and able to drive manual vehicles
  • Good command of English language required (especially speaking)
