Stuart Meakins has over 25 years’ experience in civil engineering and project management. He has a particular interest in parks, recreation and coastal projects, construction, risk management and all aspects of project and construction contract management. Stuart has worked in both private consulting as well as central and local government agencies, which enables him to bring a practical and commercial perspective to every project he is involved with.
Previous Auckland Council and Auckland Transport projects Stuart has managed include the Quay Street seawall redesign and strengthening and the CBD streetscape of O’Connell Street, Fort Street and Khartoum place.
Stuart has the ability to manage all aspects of delivery and work closely with contractors and consultants from many different disciplines, managing project expectations and bringing in results on-time and on-budget. He has a masters degree in environment law from the University of Auckland and thoroughly understands the challenges of delivering projects in the Auckland region
